The hotel is only 20 mins drive from the centre of Nairobi, this lovely lodge is set in the suburb of Karen, near to the Karen Blixen museum, it has the facilities of a modern hotel but the warmth and character of a private home. Macushla House concept was itself developed from experiences in world travel and set a vision for attracting guests who wanted an uncommon overnight accommodation experience away from the mass touristy hotel experience. While on vacation on the Emerald Isle of Ireland, the founder was inspired by the many lovely small establishments, which all had their own special ambience Accommodation Macushla House has six bedrooms and two lounges with open log fires a welcome retreat in the cold months and a swimming pool with spacious verandahs.
